I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Board Approved Supervisor, and have been practicing since 2007. I maintain a private practice in Upper Marlboro, MD, specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of the Incarnate Word and Master of Science in Counseling at Johns Hopkins University.
I strive to facilitate a space where individuals can gain the insight and tools needed for healing, growth and restoration. I practice within a collaborative approach of person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed therapy with a strength-based foundation. I enjoy working with all people regardless of age, sexual orientation, religion, race, culture, ethnicity and gender expression.
I am committed to furthering my knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, and training on a regular basis. Some of my hobbies/interests include yoga, kickboxing and running.
